Anyone aged 40+ will probably remember a bygone era: popping into Boots with a roll of film and using their famous “one-hour” service. It was a staple of British high street life – handing over your Kodak (or a disposable), then waiting with real anticipation to see whether your snaps (often a bit blurry, with the odd cut-off head) had actually come out.
Fast forward to today and most of us have thousands of photos sitting on our phones.
That got the BID team thinking: why not turn that into a challenge…?
What’s the best photo hiding on your phone?
Every photograph tells a story – yours deserves to be seen! So please share your most stunning, funny, thought-provoking photo of Rochdale Town Centre.
There are no burdensome rules – the only requirement is that the photo must have been taken on your phone in 2025 or 2026
The overall winner will receive a £250 voucher to spend at a town centre business of their choice. Two runners-up will each receive a £100 voucher, also redeemable at a town centre business of their choice.
